Locally owned and operated Legend Engineering is the culmination of Ricky Jackson's vision for engineering services simplified. Simplified Engineering services means we do all the leg work throughout your project so that our product is turn key. Our goal is to eliminate the complication and make projects stress free for our clients, by maintaining open channels of communication.
When the doors opened at Legend Engineering we decided to establish the benchmark for customer communication and satisfaction by collaborating directly with clients enabling us to fully understand their needs and providing updates to project key milestones. It is the three core values, simplify, communicate and satisfy that allow Legend to be a leader in the engineering community and help our clients enjoy the process of developing there new dream.
Ricky Jackson, P.E
Principal
Ricky is a Florida native who grew up in Tampa and moved to Jacksonville to obtain his Civil Engineering degree from The University of North Florida (swoop!). Ricky's experience came from years of working in a variety of departments within the Public municipality sector. Those experience's ranged from construction, design and review. Ricky's passion for Civil Engineering stems from knowing that each project is the beginning of someone else's passion, whether their passion is to open a business (Commercial site development // Tenant build out), build their dream home (Residential site plans) or preserve and enhance their property that abuts a waterway (Marine).

When Ricky isn't working you will find him at the beach or at a park with his wife and two children. His hobbies are surfing, fishing, exercising and hanging with the family.
